If you&#8217;re like me, you may find yourself with a few students playing the same music.&nbsp; That makes teaching a little easier, but it becomes an issue when it&#8217;s time to plan a performance opportunity.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">I counter this issue by making a chart of all of my students and the songs they play best.&nbsp; Then I start zooming in on duplications.&nbsp; When it comes to a performance, duplications complicate the program.&nbsp; My students still talk about the holiday performance a couple of years ago when five different people played &#8220;Jingle Bells.&#8221;&nbsp; While it is amusing to remember, it certainly dampens the memories of individual performance.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">So, what&#8217;s the solutions?&nbsp; Supplemental material!&nbsp;
