A saga unfolded toward the end of the four Gospels that has left me entranced since I was a child.  No one can deny the epic weight of these accounts of the final days of Jesus of Nazareth.  Whether you walk away from the story a believer or not, one it forever changed by its beauty and no doubt left uncomfortable by its cruelty.

“One Perfect Love” is a look at the events that culminated in the death of the man who, though meek and peaceful, stirred controversy among those in power…both in government and religion.  So great was their hate of his claim to be the son of God, that their ultimate conclusion was that he must be silenced along with what they perceived to be a subversive movement.

Struggle with his disciples, including Judas, as the kiss of betrayal is given.  Wrestle with your nightmares as Pontius Pilate struggles with the sentence that should be extended.  Follow the crowds to the gate of sorrow and behold perfect love, that love which is willingly sacrificed…“One Perfect Love.”
